Real Estate Grants
I have to admit it. I’m lazy. That’s probably the main reason why I’ve never really pursued grants for real estate investing. It always seemed too difficult and full of red tape.
Then along came a client, Mike. He was buying a multi-million dollar apartment complex in Kentucky that the sellers had already gotten approved for several grants and tax credits. He got hundreds of thousands of dollars FREE to rehab and market the property. This money was not a loan… it was grant money that he never has to pay back.
Here’s just a sample of the grant and tax credit programs available from the government for real estate investors:
* Affordable Housing Trust Programs
* Neighborhood Stabilization Programs
* Federal Home Loan Bank Programs
* HOME program
* Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)
* Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)
* Historic Tax Credits
* New market tax credits
* Section 8 programs
* VASH program (for Veterans)
Want to learn how to apply, get approved and get the grant with no hassles and no brain damage? Then you need to register for a call I’m hosting October 8th. I’ll be interviewing Sean Carpenter an expert in government deal funding.
Sean Carpenter has over 20 years of experience in working with government agencies to acquire funds, place tenants, and “flip” tax credits. On this special interview with Sean, I’m going to be grilling him on how he gets these funds, and how you can get them, too.
I’ll be asking Sean:
* How he uses government funds in his deals
* If and how he uses government funding in conjunction with conventional financing
* What the HUD programs are and how they work
* What the requirements are for the various programs
* The differences between “hard” and “soft” government financing programs
* What tax credit programs are available and how to use them
* How the Stimulus bills have been helping investors
* How the new foreclosure bill is affecting investors
* What’s involved in getting funds for your deals

Susan, your programs are very enlightening and priced EXTREMELY reasonable so that anyone can afford them. You are truly and investor first and a marketeer of real estate related products second.
