I really like your infor about find your funding first because the last two yrs studying private investing I’ve always been “told find the deal,” “the money will follow” and to be quite honest I do have one person that’s a mortgage lender that told me, “find a good deal” and if it’s workable we’ll do, and I’ll get a finder’s fee.But he also so said it can’t be listed (MLS)property. I’m in Oregon and as long as I understand the law as long as I don’t represent any buyer or seller in any transactions I’m not violating any real estate laws not being a licensed real estate agent or broker. One of my main concerns I know a agent who is also a private investor and we want to work together but we don’t to break any laws by me birdogging for him and him paying me a finder’s fee. Should I talk to a real estate lawyer about and spent the $200 hr to be safe?
