I'm in Oregon and as long as I understand the law as long as I don't represent any buyer or seller in any transactions I'm not violating any real estate laws not being a licensed real estate agent or broker. One of my main concerns I know a agent who is also a private investor and we want to work together but we don't to break any laws by me birdogging for him and him paying me a finder's fee. Should I talk to a real estate lawyer about and spent the $200 hr to be safe?
