Robert Allen’s Multiple Streams of Income Challenge
Robert G. Allen must have the same seminar promoter as Donald Trump! I just got another invitation in the mail for one of those free real estate training seminars.
Robert G. Allen “best-selling author and real estate guru” (his words not mine), is hosting a three-day real estate training workshop that he is calling Multiple Streams Workshop. He says this hands-on workshop is a must-have for every millionaire in the making and promises to teach us all the facets of real estate including how to find foreclosures and pre-foreclosure properties, how to purchase real estate with no money down, how to use the Internet to find funds and farm my real estate business, how to structure real estate to protect yourself and be as profitable as possible, how to find motivated sellers, the massive tax deductions that are available in real estate investing and how to create and maintain your power team for exponential real estate and Internet results.
I’ve been to a Robert Allen seminar before and I can tell you that it’s more of a show than it is a real estate investing seminar. I’m not big on singing and dancing and clapping and meditating when I’m supposed to be learning real estate investing strategies. His seminars are more theatrical than informative. And it seems that most (if not all) of the strategies that he’s going to be teaching in a three-day seminar really are super basic and we know the basics already.
There is one topic that I find interesting and that’s the topic of “massive tax deductions.”
Back in the 90′s Robert Allen had major tax problems with the IRS filing business and property tax liens against he and his wife. So much so that they ended up having to file bankruptcy. So, I’m not sure that I want to be learning tax strategy from Robert Allen.
And taking a page right out of the Trump playbook, he is going to be regurgitating a book that he released years ago that I already have called Multiple Streams of Income although he’s updated it with a new title “How to Survive in a Recession Economy Creating Multiple Streams of Income.”
This is just more of the same. An old-school real estate investing “guru” with nothing new to share going out on the road giving us “free” information which is really just a disguised sales pitch for a seminar at a later date that will cost thousands and thousands of dollars. If you get your invitation in the mail, and you will, remember to recycle.
