Thanksgiving in Cabo

This year I spent Thanksgiving in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I love to travel and although I’ve been to Mexico many times, I’d never been to Cabo.

We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistic Retreat and Spa and if you have the chance to go, I highly recommend it. The staff was excellent, the spa treatments relaxing, the beach pristine (we even got to help release newly hatched “tortugas” – sea turtles.

We snorkeled at the arch or “Land’s End” where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean AND saw the sea lions sunning themselves on the rocks.

Something also happened to me on this trip that doesn’t happen every day….

I fell in love.

Here’s a picture of me and my new love, Olean.

Yes, she lives in another country, speaks a different language and weighs 500 lbs but she is a great dancer and there is no denying our bond.

If you’re ever in Cabo be sure to drop by Cabo Dolphins and tell Olean “Hola!” from me.

Hola Richard and thank you. Yes, I’ve visited the Mayan ruins several times and especially love visiting Tulum when I stay in Playa Del Carmen.
